Stump Grinding and Tree Stump Removal

Removing tree stumps can be a huge undertaking for the average home gardener. Most trees root structures extend well beyond the canopy of the tree itself. If a tree is cut down, but not properly and professionally grinded, then you may find that it can cause a number of problems including:

  • Poor soil quality
  • Dead or patchy grass where roots are present
  • Unwanted regrowth on the root or along the root lines

If you are experiencing any of these issues, then the team at Michael’s Tree Lopping can help. Whether large or small, we have the knowledge, experience and equipment to make light work of the removal of any tree stump.

Our Stump Grinding Services

Michael’s Tree Lopping Brisbane can help take care of your stump removal project with ease. Over the years we have helped our clients with:

  • Large stump removal
  • Hardwood stump removals
  • Removals in locations with narrow access
  • Removal of existing root structures
  • Mulching all stump waste and removal

Gain valuable space in your yard or garden beds

Leaving a stump in the ground prevents gardeners from using that space for other plants and can ruin the landscape design you are wanting. Also, the root systems of old trees can impact the soil quality of the area surrounding the stump and sap vital nutrients from other plants and trees.

The good news is, with the right equipment removing stumps can be easy, quick and cost effective. Michael’s Tree Lopping uses the latest grinding equipment, together with our expert knowledge in stump removal to return your garden or yard to a stump free state.

Our Equipment

Depending on the size of the stump that needs to be removed, our team can use a number of different methods to permanently remove a tree stump.

Some smaller jobs can be completed by digging out the stump and removing the root structures manually. Most jobs however, will require some specialist grinding or digging equipment in order to fully remove the stump and attached roots.

If you are unsure of how bigger job it will be to remove your unwanted tree stump, then give us a call and we can organise a time to inspect the job and provide you with a quote for tree stump removal.

Our Process

1

After we have inspected the job, we will provide you with a quote for removal. Should you wish to go ahead, we will organise a date and a time to attend the property and complete the job.

2

We will check the current condition of the tree stump, as well as the surrounding garden/yard areas and if required, tape of a section for the safety of our team, and your family and property.

3

We will then commence cutting the stump into smaller pieces using a number of different tools and machinery.

4

Finally, once the majority of the stump is removed, we will grind the remainder of the stump that is below the ground surface and channel out any large roots that may cause future problems.

5

Once finished, we will mulch and remove the stump waste, and tidy the area of your yard or garden that we have been working in.
