Michael is the man behind Michaels Tree Services. With over 40 years’ experience as a qualified arborist in the diverse Queensland climate, he has successfully run his own business for 30 years now. The legend himself… his motor never stops!

Level IV Qualified Arborist

Nic is the friendly face of Michaels Tree Services, from your initial quotation through to job completion. Nic effortlessly carries the weight of the business on his shoulders and is our GO-TO for everything! Son to Michael, but not superior to him just yet!!

Level III Qualified Arborist and currently undertaking his Diploma in Arboriculture

Sam completed his apprenticeship with us, after discovering a passion for tree climbing upon finishing school. A hard worker, reliable and approachable, you'll find Sam's friendly face on every job. Sam is the backbone to our team!

Level III Qualified Arborist

Luca is our school-based apprentice, eager and willing to learn all the ropes about becoming a qualified arborist. Not afraid to roll up his sleeves and help out, Luca is such a positive asset to the MTS team!

Currently undertaking his Level III in Arboriculture

Renee wears many hats within our business. She is our onsite paparazzi and the creative behind all of the wonderful content you find on our social media. You'll find Renee helping out on the ground at job sites, getting work done… after all, someone needs to keep the boys in line!

Renee completes the family business, as Michael and Jo's daughter, little sister to Nic, and our all-rounder superstar!

Jo is the other half of Michaels Tree Services. By Michael’s side for the whole 30 years of their small family-owned business, Jo looks after all the paperwork side of the business. She is dedicated to the ongoing success of MTS and keeps the wheels turning. Also a legend herself!

Did we mention Jo is Michael’s wife and, of course, Nic’s mum?! We mean it when we say family owned and operated!

Laine works in our office doing all things admin. She is usually on the other end of your phone calls to Michaels Tree Services. Alongside Jo, this duo ensures smooth sailing for the team.

Not technically a family member, but Laine struck gold landing a job with the MTS team when she moved interstate and adopted them as her QLD family!
